What techniques do you use?
We use positive reinforcement with food, praise, and other types of rewards. We also believe that you need to be the leader of the pack and we work with you to accomplish that. Positive reinforcement refers to the training of dogs without the use of pain or intimidation in training.
Do I have to use treats?
No. Anything that your dog likes will work, i.e. toys, sticks, play, voice etc.
Do I have to use treats for the rest of my dog’s life?
No. Once our dogs have learned their commands, a random reward program is better. Also, changing rewards from treats to praise to pets etc. at random is best.
Will the training break my dog’s spirit?
Absolutely not. Positive training and techniques enhance the greatest aspects of our dog’s personality, and when done correctly, minimizes the worst.
Can you come to my house, or do I have to try and come to you?
We can meet with you anywhere to get the most out of our training session. If we need to meet at the vet, the dog park, the lake, etc. we will work with you to give you the best results possible.
What types of payment do you accept?
Cash, checks, all major credit cards, and Pay Pal.
How does our first appointment work?
After we have had our free phone consultation to discuss the behaviors you need help with and learn a little bit about you and your dog, our first appointment is our assessment/evaluation. This is a 1 ½ hour appointment where we assess and diagnose the issues and lay out a training plan that is most suited to your lifestyle.
What days and hours do you do training?
We offer training from as far north as Everett to as far south as Renton at whatever time works best for your schedule! We pride ourselves on our flexibility because we are passionate about training dogs and giving you an awesome customer experience.
What is your refund policy?
All sales are final. For extenuating circumstances, we are happy to refund any training sessions that have not been used up.
Do I really get a free phone and email support with training?
If you need help or a recommendation for anything, just give us a call! Our support policy is there to help you always feel you have someone to turn to who knows you and your dog and can help even if it has been only days since your last training session or years! We are always here to help.
