"We came to Julie after a strong recommendation from the shelter where we adopted our Doberman/lab puppy, Rowley. Rowley loves other dogs and people, though has a lot of energy and is very easily distracted, especially by other dogs. He already knew quite a few commands when we signed up for this class, but after discussing things with Julie, she gave us a lot of confidence that the Basic Training Course would be the best place for him to burn some energy, learn to fight distraction, and solidify the strong base of commands that he knew. The price was very reasonable for the quality of instruction, and Julie clearly has a strong connection to dogs. Rowley still has more energy than most, but with her coaching we learned how to channel his energy into focus, and when he does get distracted, how to re-establish his focus to keep him safe while keeping things fun and interesting.
